These earrings were created using the traditional Japanese wax technique Mitsuro Hikime, a rare process in which special wax is stretched by hand to create flowing, organic textures.
I am drawn to the unpredictability of this technique — the way the surface develops almost like a natural formation, making each piece subtly unique. The final silver forms capture light differently from every angle and create delicate movement when worn.
Although sculptural in appearance, the earrings were designed to feel fluid and effortless, becoming part of the wearer’s gestures rather than simply functioning as decoration.
Handcrafted in Budapest in sterling silver.
